About Us
A small research and development company specializing in spinning polymer, metal, ceramic and carbon nanotube fibers of unique shapes, materials and properties. Our lab is located at Polymer Processing Institute in New Jersey Institute of Technology, and we have full access to their polymer processing equipment. In addition, we have:
- Proprietary built, state-of-the-art, bicomponent fiber spinning system consisting of two ¾ inch Dia extruders, melt pumps, air quench stock, take up and draw unit and winder capable of producing mono and multi-filament fiber of various cross-sections and sizes in quantities ranging from few grams to hundreds of kilograms
- Capillary rheometer with take up and winder unit capable of producing good quality fiber from as little as 5 grams of material
- Wire coating equipment
- Library of fibers of variety of materials and unique shapes
- Tooling, including more than 200 spinnerets with various capillary orifices for mono, multi and bi-component fiber production.
